A Beautiful Family

This family is as wonderful as they are beautiful!

Four Little Darlings

Yes, these are my children and my nieces, but they are so adorable! We had such an awesome photoshoot, and I just loved perfecting their portraits.

Just a Cute Photograph

Sometimes, you are just in the right place at the right time.

All Dressed Up

This session took us about 15 minutes. Much different from last year. Nola is now mobile and very curious about the backdrop. She loved pulling it down. Needless to say, her best pictures were in the first three minutes.

Attempting to get a 3 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old to cooperate for a picture together is absolutely pointless. Luckily, we got one before the wrestling match began.

Finally, Mason somewhat cooperated for his pictures. He hasn't really done this for me since he was about 9 months old. I think he was just excited to be dressed up as Batman with blue hair. It was his idea. I know Batman does not have blue hair. I am all for individuality. He was the only batman at the Fall Festival with Blue Hair.
I actually tried to get him to dress up as something different. I love putting their costumes together myself, but this year Dad got in Mason's head that he wanted to be Batman. There was no changing his mind. On the upside, his costume cost about $15 and that includes the can of blue hairspray, not bad.

Jacob and Liz, September 26, 2008

These are a few of my favorites from Jake and Liz's Engagement Session. Jake was the typical male with one smile, but very cooperative. Liz was awesome and so cute. She did her research and had this shoot down. I think with a lot of Liz's ideas and my creativity we did pretty well.

A Happy Accident

The Ring

The Embrace

The Kick

Liz was persistent on getting a shot of her kicking her leg back. It paid off!

The Brave Couple

You wouldn't know by the picture, but we were all being eaten by mosquitos.

The Gaze

Cool Ground

The Love

The Beautiful Faces

The Happy Couple

The Embrace II

She's the One

The Confidence

Doing photoshoots of couples is addicting. Liz was just beaming the entire shoot. She is so proud of her man. It makes you fall in love with your significant other all over again. Everyone needs a good dose of sweet every once in a while.

The Future Mrs. Coy, September 17, 2008

The day has finally come. I have been stressing out over doing my sister's Bridals for months now. Well, here is a sneak peak. Jeni did agree to me posting these pictures, and believe me I asked her more than once if it was OK. We did a lot of research looking for the perfect spot for her pictures and came up with several. This was our first stop at Betenbough.

After seeing Jeni's practice bouquet, I wanted to rewind and do my wedding flowers all over again. Too bad I can't go back six years. Hmm. I can rave about her florist, though. The florist's name is Joe Shakespeare of Lou Dees Floral and Gift Center in Levelland.

I am very impressed with myself. This was my very first bridal shoot. I must say I didn't do too bad. I couldn't mess up because Jeni would never forgive me.

Lucky, for me my step dad has this awesome red barn and a huge field of grass at his house. It was so hard to choose my favorite.

I wish someone would have taken a picture of me getting the grass shots. I had to stand on top of Jason's truck to get the street out of the background. I am sure we got a lot of looks from people driving by, too. I love it!

The baseball field photographs were actually a re-shoot. I just wasn't happy with the first round. We took them in a rush the first time at about 4:00 in the afternoon. I have always heard take your photographs early in the morning and early evening. I learned my lesson the hard way. Most of Jeni's pictures from her first shoot had funky shadows running across her face. This time was so much better. So, we took these right before sunset. They turned out awesome!

This had to of been my favorite. It just screams confidence.
